Sephora to operate beauty sections in 100 Marks & Spencer stores by 2027
Marks & Spencer will partner with Sephora to run dedicated beauty departments in 100 of its stores and online from spring 2027.
Marks & Spencer disclosed a new partnership with Sephora, under which the cosmetics chain will manage beauty departments in 100 of the retailer’s stores and its e-commerce platform starting in spring 2027. Existing M&S beauty areas will be rebranded as Sephora, while the company will continue to stock its own beauty products in locations not part of the initial phase. A few stores will retain their current own-label beauty sections.
The deal brings a mix of established, emerging and exclusive brands across skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare and bodycare to the high-street chain. Executives said the move will enhance the shopping experience and attract additional customers to M&S. Both parties highlighted the partnership as a key step in transforming M&S’s fashion, home and beauty business.
Why it matters
The alliance expands Sephora’s UK footprint and could boost foot traffic and sales for Marks & Spencer.
