September 2026 brings Kia Sorento, BMW 7 Series facelift and Porsche Cayenne Electric to India
India’s auto market will see several new arrivals in September 2026, including Kia’s Sorento SUV, a Maruti Baleno refresh, updated BMW 7 Series and i7, and Porsche’s electric Cayenne.
Following a busy August of launches, September 2026 will add more choices to India’s car market. Kia’s Sorento arrives on September 4 as a six- or seven-seat SUV, powered by a 238 hp hybrid or a 202 hp diesel, and equipped with advanced driver aids and premium interior features. Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming Baleno facelift will retain its current powertrains while receiving a new grille, bumper and wheel design.
BMW’s updated 7 Series and i7, slated for September 11, keep their 3.0-litre straight-six engines but gain extra horsepower, larger screens and enhanced rear-seat comforts. Porsche will present the Cayenne Electric at the end of the month, offering a 442 hp standard model and a 1,156 hp Turbo variant, both with sizable batteries and fast charging. These launches expand options across SUV, sedan and electric segments, targeting rivals such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and other premium brands.
