Serbian army unveils robot dogs, drones and new rocket launchers at Pobednik 2026 drill
During the final day of the Pobednik 2026 exercise, Serbia displayed robotic combat platforms, unmanned aerial systems and fresh rocket-launcher models.
On the closing Sunday of the Pobednik 2026 military exercise, Serbian forces demonstrated a range of modernised hardware. The operation combined land, air, air-defence and special-police units in a simulated combat scenario on the Pester-fennsík plateau in southwestern Serbia. More than 2,000 personnel and almost 500 pieces of military equipment were involved.
Colonel Stevan Zigic, a staff officer of the Serbian General Staff’s development and procurement directorate, reported that the event highlighted over 200 major systems. These included the newly-named Vampir and Puls multiple-rocket launchers, modernised firearms, advanced optoelectronic devices, Milos-type robotic ground platforms and a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Why it matters
