Series Entertainment unveils RUN, an AI-driven platform to build games in days
Series Entertainment has launched RUN, an AI-powered beta platform that lets creators develop and publish games in a matter of days.
Series Entertainment introduced RUN, an AI-based platform currently in beta that compresses the traditional months-long game development cycle into days. The suite offers four distinct studios—Game, Adventure, Story and Video—allowing creators to generate code, 3D-style adventures, characters, worlds and short-form videos via prompts or code. CEO Pany Haritatos, who previously worked at Snap and Zynga, aims to help creators turn passions into income quickly, supported by a $1 million Content Support Fund for resources and training.
The platform initially supports mobile and web releases, with plans for TV and Steam distribution, and monetization through purchases, ads and future subscription models, charging a 20-30% fee on withdrawals. Underlying technology draws from models such as Claude, Grok, Seedance and DeepSeek, and Series intends to eventually open-source RUN. The company emphasizes a collaborative approach, continuously adding features based on creator feedback.
Why it matters
RUN could lower barriers for indie developers, reshaping how games are created and monetized.
