Settlers Detain Eight Palestinians, Cut Water and Damage Ambulance in West Bank

Osama Makhamreh reported that eight residents of Ad-Deqaiqa in the Masafer Yatta region south of Hebron were taken into custody after Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and attempted to steal livestock. The detainees named include Nasser Ahmad Nasser al-Najadeh, Abdul Rahman Mohammad al-Najadeh, Suleiman Mahmoud Kaabneh, Mohammad Suleiman al-Najadeh, Yousef Ahmad Mohammad Kaabneh, Mohammad Raad Amer, Odeh Salem al-Najadeh and his son Salem.

In the same period, settlers cut the main water line serving roughly 700 villagers, assaulted the home of Khairy Abu Tuffah in Khallet al-Hummus, and chopped down thirty guava trees owned by Khaled Mohammad Amarnah near Yaʿbad. Near the outskirts of Abu Falah, settlers protected by Israeli forces attacked while troops raided a commercial shop. Settlers sprayed pepper near al-Mughayyir, causing several Palestinians to suffer suffocation, and they also struck an ambulance of the al-Mughayyir village council, damaging it. Israeli forces repeatedly raided al-Mughayyir, searching homes and damaging property.
