Seven Swedish soldiers wounded in explosion during training at Kråks shooting range

An explosion during a drill at Kråks shooting range near Karlsborg injured seven active-duty soldiers, five of whom remain in intensive care.

The blast occurred while personnel in their twenties and thirties were conducting a live-fire exercise. All seven casualties are employed by the Swedish Armed Forces, and one is reported as being in critical condition. Authorities have opened a police investigation and the Defence Ministry has launched a separate inquiry. No details have been released about the cause of the explosion.
