Several Delhi schools targeted by bomb threat emails, prompting security sweeps

On Monday, bomb threat emails were sent to four schools located in central Delhi, causing police and emergency responders to launch anti-sabotage inspections across the affected campuses. This follows a similar incident on Friday when Balram Public School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1 received a bomb threat call, leading the Delhi Fire Service to secure the premises before declaring the warning a hoax. Delhi Fire Service officials said the alerts were received early in the morning and that security sweeps were promptly carried out.

Both episodes have been classified as hoaxes after thorough checks by the authorities. No injuries or damages were reported, and the investigations continue to identify the source of the threats.
