SGX chief Loh Boon Chye's compensation climbs 7.1% to S$8.37 million

Singapore Exchange CEO Loh Boon Chye saw his total pay rise 7.1% to S$8.37 million for FY2026, driven mainly by larger cash bonuses and long-term incentives.

For the financial year ending June 30, 2026, SGX chief executive Loh Boon Chye received total remuneration of S$8.37 million, a 7.1% increase over the prior year. The bulk of the rise came from an S$3.54 million cash bonus and a matching S$3.54 million in long-term incentive awards, both up 8.4% from FY2025 and together representing about 85% of his pay. His base salary stayed near S$1.21 million, while benefits-in-kind rose modestly.

SGX reported a 7.8% rise in net profit to S$698.4 million and a 13.9% jump in revenue to S$1.5 billion, supporting the higher executive payouts. Other senior staff also saw notable pay growth, with president Michael Syn up 16.2% and SGX RegCo chief Tan Boon Gin up 7%. The exchange announced a one-off dividend of S$0.125 per share, bringing total FY2026 dividend to S$0.57 per share, a 52% increase.
