Sharon Osbourne seeks to oust longtime accountant from Ozzy's estate administration

Sharon Osbourne lodged a petition with the High Court of Justice to displace Colin Newman as an executor of Ozzy Osbourne’s estate, valued at roughly $100 million. Newman, 79, has served as the Osbournes’ accountant since the early 1980s and was a director of Ozzy’s UK company Monowise Ltd before stepping down in April, after which Sharon took his place. Alongside Sharon, her niece Georgina Maszlin and assistant Melinda Varga are also seeking Newman’s removal, though the motive remains undisclosed.

It is unclear if Newman has filed a response to the application. Newman’s long-standing professional and personal ties to the late rocker date back to his work for Sharon’s father, music manager Don Arden. The case adds a new chapter to the family’s handling of the late singer’s fortune.
