Shopee rolls out four-hour delivery service in Brazil's fresh-food sector
Shopee introduced a new "Turbo" offering that promises delivery within four hours for fresh groceries and related items in Brazil, beginning in the São Paulo metro area.
On August 13, Shopee unveiled its Turbo service, a four-hour delivery model aimed at Brazil's fresh-food segment. The pilot will start in the São Paulo metropolitan area and will include a range of products such as fresh, perishable and frozen groceries, pet items and clothing. Daki, a local food-delivery company, will collaborate with Shopee to enable the rapid fulfillment.
The initiative adds to Shopee's existing presence of over three million sellers in the country, where it vies with major rivals like MercadoLibre and Amazon. Earlier in 2026, Amazon introduced its own ultra-fast grocery delivery option, Amazon Now, promising 15-minute deliveries. Shopee's Turbo service represents its effort to compete in the fast-delivery space.
Why it matters
Fast grocery delivery could reshape Brazil's e-commerce competition and consumer expectations.
