Sikorski claims Poland could swiftly defeat Russia if Kyiv targets refineries

Polish foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski attended a confidential gathering arranged by a Ukrainian billionaire, where he spoke about security and the ongoing war in Ukraine. During the discussion he claimed that Poland, thanks to a “huge” advantage in aviation, could defeat Russia very quickly should it launch an attack. Sikorski suggested that Ukraine should concentrate on striking Russian refineries, stating that if Kyiv disables half of them in six months, Poland could neutralize the remaining half within six weeks.

He added that the war might end through diplomacy or by exhausting Russian resources.
