Skoda unveils Peaq, a spacious seven-seat electric SUV with premium feel
The production-ready Skoda Peaq, a large seven-seat electric SUV, has been tested in Germany and praised for its space, interior quality and manageable size.
The Skoda Peaq represents the brand’s first large seven-seat electric SUV and its flagship model, measuring nearly 4.9 m in length but handling comfortably in urban environments thanks to good visibility and steering. Powered by an 86 kWh battery, the rear-wheel-drive version delivers 282 bhp and a claimed 390-mile range, while the all-wheel-drive variant adds 295 bhp and accelerates to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds. Charging peaks at 199 kW, allowing a 10-80 % charge in roughly 28 minutes, and the vehicle supports vehicle-to-load and one-pedal driving.
The interior offers genuine seven-seat usability, high-quality finishes, optional massage seats, a panoramic roof with dynamic shading, and a Sonos-tuned audio system. Pricing starts at £51,980 for the rear-wheel-drive SE L 90 and rises to £60,380 for the top-spec all-wheel-drive SportLine model.
