In Ljubljana, Slovenia’s foreign minister Tone Kajzer and Germany’s foreign minister Johann Wadephul pressed for deeper NATO cooperation to safeguard European security. Both ministers condemned Russia’s ongoing attacks on Ukraine, labeling them a security threat that affects the whole continent, and pledged continued assistance to Kyiv. They emphasized that expanding the European Union to include Western Balkan countries remains a strategic priority, describing enlargement as a decisive move rather than a mere administrative process.
