Small plane makes emergency landing on Prince George road, collides with pickup

A Beech King Air 200 attempted an emergency landing on Foothills Boulevard in Prince George, striking a pickup truck and causing injuries.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. PT, a small passenger plane performed an emergency landing on a busy stretch of Foothills Boulevard in northern Prince George, colliding with a pickup truck that had just turned onto the road. The impact injured the truck’s driver, who remained alive, while a witness named Mohit Arora described the plane’s propeller stopping only ten feet from his vehicle. RCMP Corporal Jennifer Cooper said two other cars were involved in the chaotic situation, making evasive maneuvers difficult.

Prince George Fire Rescue labeled the incident a "serious motor vehicle incident involving a plane" and began response operations.
