Social and Health Minister Wille Rydman expands stock portfolio, exits Fortum and Neste holdings

Minister Wille Rydman has markedly increased his holdings in listed companies and has sold all of his Fortum and Neste shares, according to a new disclosure.

According to a fresh affiliation filing, Social and Health Minister Wille Rydman has significantly enlarged his portfolio of listed-company stocks since the spring of 2025, with Bittium becoming his biggest investment. The filing lists new and increased positions in firms such as Digitalist Group, Endomines Finland, IQM Quantum Computers, Kempower, Kesko, Kone, Metso, Nokia, Stora Enso, and Novo Nordisk. It also confirms that Rydman has divested all of his Fortum and Neste shares, selling the entire holdings he previously owned. The disclosure provides a detailed count of shares for each company, reflecting the minister's expanded market exposure.

Why it matters

The minister's growing stock holdings and recent divestments raise questions about potential conflicts of interest for a senior government official.
