Sony unveils new game expansions, release dates and hardware at dual State of Play shows
Sony presented two State of Play streams, announcing dates for Until Dawn 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, plus expansions for Crimson Desert, Ghost of Yōtei and several indie titles.
During two back-to-back State of Play presentations, Sony highlighted a mix of major releases and smaller updates. A clip from the Resident Evil film set for September 18 opened the show, followed by a teaser for Marvel's Wolverine game. Key announcements included release dates for Until Dawn 2 (January 28) and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation (April 8), as well as expansions like Ghost of Yōtei's Most Wanted mode (October 1) and Crimson Desert's Charting the Unknown DLC (October 15).
New indie titles such as Hunter's Moon, Uncanyon and Keeper were showcased, with several slated for PlayStation Plus tiers. Hardware updates featured black and white DualSense controllers for Grand Theft Auto 6, while Sony also previewed updates for Gran Turismo 7 and Saros later this year.
