Sophia Culpo recounts near-theft on European train en route to Portofino

Sophia Culpo, the younger sister of Olivia McCaffrey, posted a TikTok account of a frightening episode on a train traveling from Nice to Portofino. She said two men rose from their seats, one dropping a phone near her boyfriend to create a distraction while the other reached for her suitcase. Acting quickly, Culpo reclaimed her belongings, but her boyfriend was forced into a physical confrontation with one of the men.

She noted that one of the attackers bore a prominent scar across his neck that resembled a knife wound, which made the situation seem potentially armed. The men eventually exited the train without stealing anything, yet one returned to the platform and behaved provocatively toward her. Culpo concluded the video urging travelers to stay vigilant when abroad.
