Southport murderer faces charges for alleged liquid attack on prison officer
Rudakubana, serving a life term for multiple child murders, has been charged with threatening and allegedly throwing an unknown liquid at a female prison officer.
Rudakubana, who is serving a life sentence for the murders of three children and the attempted murder of eight other children and two adults, has been charged with threatening a female prison officer and allegedly throwing an unknown liquid at her through his cell hatch. The alleged threat was made two days before the purported liquid incident, demanding a newspaper or the officer would be "soaked." He also faces two counts of assaulting emergency workers on May 6 and October 28 of the previous year, as well as a charge for possessing an offensive weapon in prison on June 26 last year.
In October, he is said to have punched a male officer who confronted him, and in June, sharpened stone shards were reportedly found on a shelving unit in his cell.
