SpaceX plans $40 billion financing to secure Nvidia processors
SpaceX is arranging a $40 billion funding package, led by Apollo Global Management, to buy Nvidia chips, with $10 billion in loans and $30 billion in debt.
The Elon Musk-led firm aims to raise roughly $10 billion through bank loans and $30 billion via investment-grade bonds to finance a large order of Nvidia processors. Asset manager Apollo Global Management will head the syndicate and market the debt to investors. Bond fund Pimco is among the lenders discussing participation. The financing is slated to be completed by 2027.
