Spain braces for possible fifth heatwave with temperatures soaring to 43 °C

Aemet forecasts a week of extreme heat, with temperatures about 10 °C above normal and peaks of 43 °C in cities such as Córdoba and Seville. Although the agency has not yet declared an official heatwave, yellow heat warnings will affect Andalusia and central provinces, while tropical night conditions are expected across much of the country. The heat is projected to intensify from mid-week onward, spreading to northern areas as well.
