Spanish Los Gallos clinches victory at Geneva SailGP Grand Prix

At the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva, the Spanish SailGP boat Los Gallos emerged as the winner of the Lake Geneva leg. The Swiss team, Explora Journeys Swiss, qualified for the final but could only manage fourth place, despite hopes for a breakthrough since joining the series in 2021. Los Gallos, piloted by Diego Botin, dominated the competition, leaving Australia's Bonds Flying Ross, steered by Tom Slingsby, and Denmark's Rockwool Racing, with Nicolai Sehested, in second and third.

The overall championship will pause before concluding with two final events in the United Arab Emirates, where Los Gallos and Bonds Flying Ross have already secured spots. Swiss crew members Sébastien Schneiter, Maud Jayet, Arnaud PSarofaghis and Bryan Mettraux were among those aiming for a first-place finish.
