Kenisha Daily, who teaches special education for Madera Unified School District, posted multiple Instagram videos over the weekend that featured her handling a shotgun and a pistol and inviting Black people to form a militia aimed at robbing white individuals. Concerned viewers alerted the district, which then contacted Fresno authorities, resulting in a home visit and a temporary restraining order. Daily was placed on administrative leave while law enforcement opened an investigation.
The district and Madera police conducted a safety assessment at Lincoln Elementary and increased on-site security. Officials said they are working with local agencies on additional safety plans, emphasizing that no staff member may jeopardize the school environment.
