Speeding truck crashes into motorcycle, killing four and injuring mother in Nuh

Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, a bobtail semi-truck traveling at high speed hit a motorcycle carrying Mohammad Shakir, his wife Nasreen, their two young daughters and his sister-in-law near Maria Manzil School on the Nuh-Tauru road. The impact killed Shakir, his one-month-old daughter Zahra, his two-and-half-year-old daughter Sajra and his five-year-old sister-in-law Gazala on the spot, while Nasreen was flung onto the roadside and suffered multiple fractures and a severe head injury.

The truck continued moving, dragging the victims' bodies for about 80-90 metres before stopping. CCTV footage captured the crash, and emergency responders arrived after being alerted by commuters. The victims’ bodies were taken to a government hospital for autopsy, and the abandoned truck has been seized. An FIR has been filed against the unidentified driver under sections 106 and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
