Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy lands ₹985 crore orders in India and South Africa
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited announced new contracts worth over ₹985 crore, including a 534.3 MWp solar project in Rajasthan and a 616 MWh battery storage deal in South Africa.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited disclosed that it has secured contracts exceeding ₹985 crore. One order, valued at 534.3 MWp, will be delivered in Rajasthan for a new customer and includes a balance-of-system package expected to reduce CO₂ emissions by roughly 0.80 million tonnes after commissioning. The second contract, awarded by an existing client, covers the engineering, procurement and construction of two battery energy storage systems in South Africa with a combined capacity of 616 MWh.
Chandra Kishore Thakur, the firm’s Global CEO, said the deals reinforce the company’s momentum and demonstrate confidence in its expertise and skilled workforce. Both projects underline the firm’s expanding footprint in renewable power generation and storage across domestic and international markets.
