Metropolitan Nashville Police Department investigators linked a fatal shooting to a quarrel that began inside Lavo Lounge on Antioch Pike. After security removed the participants, the confrontation continued outside, and multiple gunshots were heard as several cars left the area. One bullet pierced the Sam’s Club’s outer wall and hit Paris Carlock, a 55-year-old Frito-Lay employee, while he was counting products in the chip aisle shortly after 4 a.m. Store staff attempted first aid before Carlock was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
