Streamer Hasan Piker likens Israel's existence to Nazi Germany in on-air interview

In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, streamer Hasan Piker asserted that Israel's current form, which he described as a settler-colonial project seeking to expel indigenous Palestinians, does not possess a right to exist, likening it to Nazi Germany, apartheid South Africa and Rhodesia. Host Charlamagne tha God asked whether the same logic applied to the MAGA movement, and Piker agreed, emphasizing that such statements are often mischaracterized as calls for violence.

UCLA professor Benjamin Radd responded to the remarks, calling them historically ignorant and noting that multiple groups, including Jews, have legitimate indigenous claims while criticizing the Israeli leadership. The controversy has reverberated in U.S. politics, with Michigan Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed distancing himself from Piker after the streamer featured a doctored clip of state Sen. Jeremy Moss.
