Study links endorsement of transgender ideology to support for left-wing violence

A new study financed by the Trump administration, involving researchers from Rutgers University, the Manhattan Institute and the Network Contagion Research Institute, identified a notable association between support for transgender ideology and endorsement of left-wing political violence. Participants were asked about their willingness to target six potential victims, including political figures and institutions. Findings indicate that those who strongly affirm gender identity issues also show higher acceptance of violent tactics, which the authors describe as a possible link between gender ideology and left-wing authoritarian psychology.

The report cautions that further experimental research is required to establish a causal relationship. The study emerges amid ongoing public debate over high-profile violent incidents involving transgender individuals, such as the assassination of Charlie Kirk and an attempted attack on Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
