Suja Life’s Stock Slumps as Investors Question Guidance and Disclosure

Suja Life’s shares fell to about $9 after the company cut its full-year outlook, prompting investor-rights firms to probe possible misstatements.

Suja Life saw its stock tumble from an $18 opening price to roughly $9 after announcing a reduced full-year revenue forecast, citing softness in the grocery channel. Despite an 11.6% increase in second-quarter net sales to $83.9 million, the company posted a 21% sequential decline and a net loss that rose to $27.8 million, largely due to one-time IPO costs. Adjusted EBITDA rose 50% to $14.6 million, and the firm emphasized its leading position in cold-pressed juices and wellness shots, which drive most growth.

Investor-rights firms have opened inquiries into possible misleading disclosures to shareholders. Stipp said the firm will focus on expanding in convenience, airport, college and fitness locations while deepening its footprint in existing grocery partners such as Kroger.
