Supreme Court Collegium proposes new chief justices for four Indian states

The Supreme Court Collegium, headed by CJI Surya Kant, recommended new chief justices for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Chhattisgarh.

The five-member collegium submitted its selections, naming Justice Sanjay K Agrawal for Rajasthan after Acting CJ S P Sharma stepped aside amid integrity allegations. For Chhattisgarh, Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatra is slated to replace retiring Justice Ramesh Sinha.
