Survivor of 2002 kidnapping uses intuition to aid cold-case investigations

At age 15, Kara Robinson Chamberlain was seized by Richard Evonitz, who held her for 18 hours, assaulted her, and threatened her life before she escaped by recalling details and exploiting his momentary sleep. After fleeing to police, she led officers to Evonitz's apartment, but he later died by suicide while authorities closed in. Drawing on her experience, Chamberlain now hosts the true-crime series "Somebody Knows Something," where she works with families to re-examine cold cases and encourage public tips.
