Suspected MS-13 Member Charged with Killing Florida Man Over Girlfriend

Leon County authorities arrested 29-year-old Luis Eduardo Olla-Hernandez, described as an illegal immigrant from El Salvador and suspected MS-13 gang member, on a first-degree murder charge for the death of Devin Graves in Tallahassee. According to investigators, Olla-Hernandez invited Graves to his residence on the evening of August 20, where his girlfriend says he fired a pistol, killing Graves. The following day the girlfriend alleged that Olla-Hernandez compelled her to help relocate the corpse and later concealed it with trash and leaves before setting it alight in a burn pile.

ICE officials confirmed Olla-Hernandez entered the United States illegally near Hidalgo, Texas, and had been ordered deported by a federal immigration judge in 2024. The suspect was previously stopped for driving with a suspended license, but was not taken into ICE custody at that time. The case highlights concerns about gang activity and immigration enforcement in the region.
