SUV loses control in Pentagon lot, injuring a pedestrian

At approximately 8:45 p.m. Thursday, an SUV traveling on the connector road between the Pentagon's North and South parking lots lost control and entered the median, striking a pedestrian on the left sidewalk. Video captured the vehicle speeding through an intersection, passing two police cars before hitting a barrier and veering toward the individual, who was running away at the time. Arlington Fire Department personnel responded and escorted the victim to Oakville Hospital, where he received treatment for injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Police officers later spoke with witnesses whose faces were blurred for privacy. The driver received multiple citations, was questioned by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, and the vehicle was subsequently towed, but no arrest was made.
