Swedish engineers and Unionen plan strike at King offices in Stockholm and Malmö
Sveriges Ingenjörer and Unionen have announced a strike at King’s Stockholm and Malmö offices starting 25 September if negotiations fail, affecting about 100 engineers.
The two unions will begin industrial action on 25 September at King’s workplaces in Stockholm and Malmö unless a settlement is reached beforehand. Around 100 members of Sveriges Ingenjörer are covered by the notice. Negotiation chief Camilla Frankelius said the strike is a last resort to protect members’ conditions and influence. The unions hope to resolve the dispute before the strike date.
