Swedish opposition parties projected to edge ahead of governing coalition in parliament
A vote count forecast shows the opposition bloc at 176 seats versus 173 for the Tidö coalition.
Based on counted votes, the opposition parties V, S, MP and C are expected to secure 176 seats, while the governing parties L, KD, M and SD would hold 173. The figures have fluctuated overnight between a 176-173 split and a 175-174 margin for the opposition. Final tallies from remaining constituencies will be added later in the week.
