Taco Bell rolls out limited-edition Churro Ice Cream Taco with Salt & Straw
Taco Bell has introduced a new Churro Ice Cream Taco, a waffle-cone taco filled with churro-flavored ice cream and topped with chocolate and puffed rice, available for a short time.
Taco Bell is launching a new frozen dessert called the Churro Ice Cream Taco, priced at $3.99, in collaboration with Salt & Straw of Oregon. The item consists of a taco-shaped waffle cone filled with churro-flavored ice cream, coated in dark chocolate studded with puffed rice for added crunch. This follows the success of the previous year’s Tacolate, a cinnamon ancho chili ice cream taco that sold out on its debut weekend.
The Churro Ice Cream Taco will be sold only at Taco Bell restaurants, and on September 8 the chain will offer a limited-edition cooler containing three tacos to Reward members who enter through the app, with only 100 units available. Additionally, the promotion includes a $4.69 Choco-Waffle Chiller milkshake, featuring vanilla, churro crumbs, waffle cone bits and a chocolate shell, available at select locations in California, Las Vegas, Houston and Dallas while supplies last. Tyler Malek, co-founder and head ice-cream maker at Salt & Straw, said the partnership aimed to create a fresh, nostalgic treat for fans.
