Taiwan to Host International Forum on Whole-Society Defense Resilience

The Presidential Office will convene about 500 defence experts, officials and business leaders at the Grand Hyatt Taipei to discuss Taiwan's whole-society resilience against Chinese threats.

Around 500 specialists from defence, government and industry are expected at the Grand Hyatt Taipei for the second Resilient Taiwan for Sustainable Democracy International Forum. Sessions will cover whole-society defence preparedness, psychological defence, maritime resilience, cybersecurity, responses to gray-zone activities and safeguarding critical infrastructure. Anduril Industries founder Palmer Luckey will deliver the opening keynote on how democracies can meet emerging threats.

AIT Director Raymond Greene and UK Representative Ruth Bradley-Jones will present their views on Taiwan's defence resilience over the past year. International participants include officials from Japan, Palau, the Philippines, Lithuania and Latvia, underscoring global interest ahead of an upcoming U.S.-China summit.
