Racing driver Taj Izrin Aiman Taj Madira secured Malaysia's first esports gold at the Asian Games by winning the Gran Turismo 7 contest.
Competing at the Aichi Sky Expo, Taj Izrin amassed 36 points over three races to top the Gran Turismo 7 field, delivering Malaysia's second overall gold of the Games. He placed second in the opening two races before taking the victory in the final round. Saudi Arabia's Naif Abdulhakim Alfaleh earned silver, while South Korea's Kim Young Chan took bronze, both finishing on 25 points.
