Taliban spokesman warns Pakistan of forceful response to any Afghan sovereignty breach

Zabihullah Mujahid, the official spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said that any violation of Afghan sovereignty by Pakistan would be met with a decisive and forceful reply. He responded to earlier statements by a Pakistani army spokesperson alleging that militants are recruited, trained, and armed on Afghan territory before launching attacks inside Pakistan. Mujahid denied these accusations, asserting that Kabul does not permit the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan to operate on its soil nor supports groups targeting other countries.

He recalled that security problems linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Baloch insurgents existed before the Taliban regained control. Despite the tensions, Mujahid expressed a willingness to engage in talks with Pakistan and urged the creation of stronger mechanisms for intelligence exchange and cooperation.
