Tamar AI launches AI-native streaming platform Glanze and showcases 10,000 Parallel Universes at Venice

Tamar AI, a Palo Alto startup, announced Glanze, an AI-native streaming platform that turns brief AI-generated “Glances” into full-length series, launching the web version on Sept. 4 with more than 40 titles and a mobile app slated for October. The rollout coincided with a Venice Production Bridge event where Tamar AI and HappyHorse showcased three sci-fi films from the 10,000 Parallel Universes incubator, a program that received over 2,000 submissions and a prize pool exceeding $500,000.

Creators Liu Haonan and Qiao Yuhang used TapNow’s multimodal AI and intelligent agents to produce “Primordia,” a multi-planet saga built largely without a traditional crew. The company argues that AI tools lower costs and broaden access, allowing more creators to experiment simultaneously. A panel titled “AI + Cinema: The Next Generation of Storytelling and Creativity” featured representatives from CILECT Europe, Rainbow Group, Tamar AI and HappyHorse, followed by a curated screening of the winning films. Sabrina Qin expressed optimism that AI will reshape storytelling, echoing sentiments voiced at Cannes by Guillermo del Toro.
