Taylor Frankie Paul reveals heated dispute with ex Dakota Mortensen as SLOMW production halts

Taylor Frankie Paul told her co-stars about a volatile argument with ex-partner Dakota Mortensen, prompting Hulu to pause production of “SLOMW.”

Taylor Frankie Paul disclosed to her “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-stars that she had quit filming “SLOMW” after a fierce confrontation with ex-partner Dakota Mortensen, the father of her two-year-old son Ever. Paul recounted that Mortensen’s friend called child-protective services following a recent dispute, and she insisted that Ever was never present in the vehicle during the alleged altercation. She portrayed Mortensen as a detrimental influence and noted that his behavior surfaced just as her “Bachelorette” season was set to air.

The conversation ended with a on-screen notice that production was paused following Paul’s call. Earlier, the season had already been suspended in March after a domestic-abuse investigation, and one outlet later removed Paul from the upcoming “Bachelorette” after a leaked video of a 2023 incident. Police investigations continue in Utah and West Jordan.

Why it matters

The dispute highlights ongoing legal and safety concerns affecting a high-profile reality TV star and her family.
