Taylor Swift reaches 100 cumulative weeks atop Billboard 200 as deluxe edition fuels second week at No. 1
Taylor Swift has amassed 100 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 across all her albums, with the deluxe version of “The Life of a Showgirl” holding the top spot for a second week.
Taylor Swift celebrated a cumulative 100 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a record for solo artists, after “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” secured a second consecutive week at the summit. The expanded edition, featuring four additional songs, is counted together with the original album, extending its run to a total of 14 weeks at the top. Swift’s lead surpasses Elvis Presley’s 67 weeks and Garth Brooks’s 52 weeks among living solo performers, while the Beatles retain the overall group record with 132 weeks.
One outlet chart also saw the Beatles re-enter at No. 4 thanks to a new boxed-set reissue of “Rubber Soul,” and Drake’s “Habibti” jump to No. 2 after a four-track deluxe release. Mac Miller’s “The Divine Feminine” returned to No. 10 following a 10-year anniversary edition, and Olivia Rodrigo, Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Noah Kahan and Olivia Dean all occupied positions within the top ten.
Why it matters
The achievement underscores Swift’s dominant commercial influence in the music industry and highlights how deluxe reissues can reshape chart performance.
