Tea Party Patriots Action revives poll-watcher training push ahead of 2026 midterms

Tea Party Patriots Action is restarting its campaign to educate poll watchers and election workers as the November midterm contests approach. After a kickoff meeting with the Honest Elections Project in Georgia on August 28, the next gathering is set for Nevada on September 11, with additional sessions slated for Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada over the following weeks. The group notes that it previously enlisted roughly 35,000 poll personnel in the 2022 and 2024 elections and intends to match that scale for the 2026 cycle.

Chairman Jenny Beth Martin emphasized election integrity as a core concern for grassroots conservatives and linked the training drive to a push for the SAVE America Act, which seeks stricter proof-of-citizenship requirements for voter registration. She warned that, with the legislation stalled in the Senate, ordinary citizens must take the lead in safeguarding election confidence.
