Team Global Express resumes door-to-door deliveries in regional Tasmania after community push
Team Global Express has restored its door-to-door parcel service to parts of regional Tasmania following complaints from locals who were forced to travel to a depot.
The courier firm reversed a recent decision to suspend deliveries in certain Tasmanian districts after residents reported having to drive long distances to collect their packages. Customers said they continued to pay for home delivery despite the change. Executive chair Christine Holgate traveled to Miena in central Tasmania to meet an affected resident. During the visit she confirmed that the service would be reinstated immediately.
