Teen girl from Södermanland investigated for alleged murder plot

A teenage girl from Södermanland was taken into custody at the end of August on suspicion of preparing a murder, while a 13-year-old boy from Göteborg faces charges of serious threats.

Police detained the Södermanland teenager after learning she may have communicated with a suspect linked to a murder in Fagersta. Prosecutor Adolf Moberg Oleszkiewicz confirmed the case is classified as preparation for murder, though details remain undisclosed. The girl denies any wrongdoing. In a separate investigation, a 13-year-old boy from Göteborg, who also had contact with the Fagersta suspect, is accused of aggravated illegal threats. A 16-year-old remains in custody for aiding a murder and an attempted murder.
