Teen sentenced to four years for recording and selling child sexual abuse online

Gift Ayoola, a 19-year-old from Pendyris Street, Riverside, was found guilty of creating, possessing and distributing indecent images of children, some as young as two years old. Police seized devices containing 455 category A, 401 category B and 389 category C images, along with bestiality-related pornography. Ayoola used online group chats on Telegram and WhatsApp to share the material and accepted £5,000 from a buyer via PayPal.
During the trial, prosecutors detailed how he instructed a 12-year-old girl to expose herself and urged older children to perform sexual acts on younger ones. After pleading guilty, the judge highlighted the extreme vulnerability of the victims and imposed a four-year custodial term, indefinite notification requirements and a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
