Early Monday, at least four shots were heard at the Joseph-Lakanal school in Aubagne, Bouches-du-Rhône, striking the school’s 53-year-old principal in the right hip and a 37-year-old teacher in the thigh. Police quickly arrested a 14-year-old believed to be responsible for the attack and launched a probe for attempted homicide, according to the Marseille prosecutor’s office.
