Teenage student found dead with injuries at Yong Peng secondary school

A 16-year-old Form Four student was discovered dead with signs of assault at a Yong Peng school, prompting a murder investigation.

Authorities were alerted when a 16-year-old Form Four pupil did not come home by about 5.30 pm, prompting her grandmother to search the school premises. The student was found lying unresponsive, with dried blood on her body, multiple bruises and a broken flowerpot nearby, suggesting a violent assault.
