Tekever secures new Series D funding to boost global expansion

Tekever completed a Series D financing round, attracting investors such as UC Investments, Baillie Gifford, Merlyn Advisors, Crescent Cove, Ventura Capital and Iberis Capital. Ricardo Mendes, the company's executive chairman, highlighted that the new capital will enable faster global expansion, strengthen industrial and technological capabilities, and support strategic acquisitions. This round marks the first direct investment by a Californian university in Europe.
Tekever intends to pursue further fundraising phases over the next months, though it did not disclose the total target amount. The company described the investor group as exceptional and emphasized the importance of the funding for its ambition to become a leading global technology player from Europe.
