Consequently, Al-Shaair was fined $11,492 and received a letter detailing the specific rule breach.
He kept the tribute visible when reporters entered the locker room after the 36-31 defeat. The league’s disciplinary process includes an option to appeal, but a source familiar with the case said Al-Shaair is not expected to do so.
