The Sims 4 adds Mean Girls and Clueless fashion packs starting Aug. 27
The Sims 4 will offer two new downloadable fashion kits—one themed after Mean Girls and another after Clueless—available from Aug. 27.
Electronic Arts’ life-simulation title The Sims 4 is set to release two themed fashion bundles on Aug. 27. The Mean Girls capsule will add a selection of miniskirts, matching sweaters, velour track suits and specific outfits that reference memorable moments from the movie, including the jingle-bell performance and the Mathletes team jacket. The Clueless capsule will bring Cher’s signature yellow-plaid outfit, layered tops, button-front skirts, workout apparel and Tai-inspired overalls into the virtual closet.
Both kits aim to give players a nostalgic 1990s-early-2000s wardrobe. The content will be sold as downloadable items within the game’s online store. This marks another crossover between popular teen films and the Sim universe, expanding customization options for fans.
Why it matters
It gives Sim players new nostalgic clothing options and expands the game's cross-media collaborations.
